Pictures: #NoDAPL banner display at Hillary Clinton Election Eve rally in Philadelphia
November 7, 2016
On the night before the 2016 presidential election, thousands of people crowded outside of Independence Hall in Philadelphia to support Hillary Clinton. A group of artists and activists, with EDGE members, created large banners to remind Clinton and her supporters that they should not support the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) and that they should protect water as our life source. Planting the banners within feet of the security checkpoint, thousands of passersby were able to see the banners. Many came over and asked questions about the DAPL and how they could help.
