CEO Phil Rinaldi's award ceremony at The Franklin Institute
Bio delivered at Philadelphia Energy Solution Refinery CEO Phil Rinaldi's award ceremony at The Franklin Institute: "He might be the most important Philadelphian since Benjamin Franklin." BwaHahaha! No. We are going to shut you down. Philadelphia deserves sustainable, clean energy led by community solutions.
As the WTO of Greater Philadelphia (WTCGP) welcomed the largest polluter in the city, Philadelphia Energy Solution Refinery, into the The Franklin Institute to accept the Rinaldi Toxic Heart Award, the crowd was serenaded to the tune of Simple Gifts. Philadelphians don't need Rinaldi's 'gifts' of pollution, displacement, and imminent toxic catastrophe. Thank you to our EQAT (Earth Quaker Action Team) friends for bringing your gift of community support. EDGE <3s you!
From the program handed out at the Philadelphia Energy Solution Refinery award ceremony hosted by the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia: Philadelphia Regional Port Authority says they are 'Delivering Prosperity', but Philadelphia is the third poorest city in the country. So they must be delivering prosperity to all their WTCGP friends, and that is exactly what will continue to happen ifPES & corrupt politicians like Councilman David O'hare allowed to exploit Philadelphia to export fracked gas. Oh has already been courting the LNG schills, even hosting a meeting at Drexel with virtually every LNG profiteer from around the country for which the key note speaker was Jason French of Cheniere Energy who was a major player in BP's propaganda machine in the aftermath of the Deepwater Horizon disaster. During Oh's meeting blue collar Philadelphian residents who wanted accountability for the lack of public health officials and locals on the panel spoke up and were removed from the meeting by police, while Oh muttered about what it's like to 'deal with Philadelphians' and announced that, despite being one of our city council people, he doesn't work for us. Well, Councilman Oh, we didn't need you to tell us that; we can see that you actually work for the gas & oil industry.
